KUALA LUMPUR(吉隆坡), March 8 (Xinhua) -- A Malaysian(马来西亚)passenger plane carrying 239 people, including 227 passengers and 12 crew members(机组人员), has air traffic control (空中交通管制中心) after leaving Malaysia's capital Kuala Lumpur, the carrier said Saturday.

Malaysia Airlines said flight MH370, a Boeing 777-200, left Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 00:41 a.m. and was expected (预计) to land in Beijing at 06:30 a.m. The aircraft lost touch with Subang Air Traffic Control around 02:40 a.m. local time Saturday morning.

The flight was carrying 227 passengers (including two infants), 12 crew members. The passengers are of 14 different nationalities. All crew on-board are Malaysians. Chinese aviation authorities have confirmed (确定) that there were 154 Chinese nationals aboard the plane.

A new study says light pollution is stopping us from seeing the stars in the sky at night. Scientists say we should reduce(减少) electric(电)lighting at night, such as street lights and lights in shops.

They say more than half of us can’t see many starts at all, because of the light pollution. They want to do something to turn off the lights and let more of us see the night sky.

They got almost 1,000 people to pick a clear night in January or February and count the number of stars they could see in Orion(猎户座).
