Step1.热身复习
1.Greetings: Hello, boys and girls. How are you, today？ Let’s look at some pictures.
Do you know what are they about?
2. Do you know other Chinese festivals?
（设计意图：通过精美图片展示，引出新年及其他中国重要节日） Step2 导入新课
师：You have known some Chinese famous festivals. Now let’s see some another pictures. 展示图片，引领学生复习已经学过的西方国家节日。问：What’s it about? You can say in Chinese. 当学生说出“感恩节”时，师：Yes, it’s the Thanksgiving day.带领学生大量练习。
T：Today we will learn module 10 unit2 Merry Christmas.（练习Merry Christmas的发音）

Father Christmas: Hello boys and girls! Close your eyes and sleeping. I will give you presents（单词Christmas
tree/present/peanuts/sweets/其他水果食物等卡片）.(教师扮演圣诞老人发送礼物)

（让拿到礼物的同学把礼物举起来让老师看一下。）
师生一齐对得到礼物的同学说：Happy Christmas!【merry,chrismas】
T：Show us your presents.让拿有圣诞老人发的单词礼物的同学上台找朋友(找单词相应的汉语意思)，找到后领大家一齐读单词，句型（We have/eat „„）
（设计意图：让学生在接受礼物的氛围中体验西方文化，并学习西方文化）
4.教师领读课文，对重点、难点词、句反复练习。
（设计意图：通过任务性录音教学，让学生有目的的听，更好地集中注意力。）

Step4 游戏巩固
Making Christmas Card.

T: Please take out your things, and make it. You can do it by yourself, or with your deskmates, or in your group.

创造条件，让班内学生参与表演中国和西方国家的礼俗，教师可在其中引导学生，如We’re going to play a game about Spring Festival .„，引导学生大胆练习口语Here are some
peanuts/sweets for you ./Give you./Thank you!/You’re welcome./Bye/„„
（设计意图：让学生学会合作，为学生创造一个展示自我的舞台，并将知识进行拓展和延伸。因为学生有丰富的生活经验，过年问好，赠糖果等都很熟悉，所以学生表演起来难度不大，但对英语口语的应用有一定的难度，教师应给予适当的指导。）
Step6 家庭作业
⒈听录音，朗读课文，并试着模仿语音语调。
⒉收集其他节日的图画或者照片，并了解其风俗习惯．例如：中秋节人们吃什么和做什么．下节课前向同学们介绍自己收集了解到的节日知识．
（设计意图：鼓励学生学有所用，延伸到其他节日，做好课内知识的延伸。）
