Another benefit is that the companies which contribute a large sum of money to support the underprivileged people would have high possibility to get tax exemption from the government, which would again lead to increase of net profit. Therefore, I doubt whether there is pure altruism.

It is true that movies and TV programs contain somewhat violent and pornographic scenes, which is likely to affect young people negatively. However, if parents could provide guidance for children, the unwanted consequences would not happen in most cases. As a matter of fact, most movies and TV programs present stories that justice will eventually prevail over evil. This is actually a mean of education, which subconsciously foster young people’s spiritual value and moral responsibility. Take Superman as an example, Superman has been regarded as the superhero and influenced children for a few generations in both western society and Asian countries. In the movie, whenever a dangerous incident occurred, Superman would appear instantly, saving those who were in danger and punishing the evil ones. Because young people admire this character, they
