Wechat is becoming more and more popular among us.No matter where we are,on the light rail,in a coffee shop, even walking on the street ,we always find that people using wechat around us.This phenomenon exists for a number of reasons as below.

However,there is no doubt that wechat has its drawbacks as well as merits.For us students,wechat may divert attention from study.For all users,wechat may lead us to focus too much on others’ life.To solve this problem,we should control the time using mobile phone apps.
In recent years,Wechat is becoming increasingly popular.Many people express themselves,exchange ideas and deliver information by Wechat.
There are a number of reasons for Wechat to be known.To begin with,Wechat is a relative cheap way of communication,which cuts down a great deal of the cost of making a phone call.Next,Wechat is to the taste of the majority of people.Its attractive interface and various functions are loved wildly.Furthermore,convenience also accounts for its popularity.It is available everywhere and at any time.

Nowadays, there is a famous app installed on almost every smart phone called “wechat”. „It is a mobile text and voice messaging communication service developed by Tencent, and it is the largest standalone messaging app by monthly active users,‟ described by Wikipedia. More and more people are fascinated by this social software. Meanwhile, it also becoming a potential threat to our face-to-face communication.
As for me, wechat plays a vital role in my daily life. I can send massage to my parents and friend, and get latest information from „moments‟. We have access to having a meeting by discussing in the „forum‟. In a word, wechat does facilitate our life, providing a convenient way to contact others. However, I found it is hard for people to talk with friend face-to-face for the growing number of wechat users.
The first thing I will do when they wake up is to check wechat‟s massage, rather than say good morning to my roommates. When I hang out with friend, I always subconsciously look down to my cellphone, ignoring my friend‟s talk. More and more people prefer sending massage on wechat to facing each other. Consequently, it is becoming a trend that a large number of people addicted to typing on the screen during their spare time. And I am also becoming one of them.
Maybe this new modern way of communication doesn`t limited by surroundings; people are free to express their opinion. But it lacks of nonverbal communication. In this report, I will describe the problems we found in the survey , the way we investigate and propose four possible measures to solve them .
Activity Summary
Nowadays, the majorities of people addicts to mobile in their spare time. Fewer and fewer people make a review or preview before the class and chat each others. Because the quickly development of smartphones , more and more people pay more attention to their phones. We organizes a series of activities and the result is encourages.
Surveys:
We carried out a survey to find out the effect of the Wechat so that we could focus more on colleges’ students .

The results are not as bad as we had expected. Most people could study in proper time and play in proper time. The survey concluded that 89%of the students surveyed responded positively. We chose 100 college students. 45 students are females, the rest are males. The Wechat and QQ are our tools. At first , 95% of them have registered the Wechat, and 45%of them are junior students. Nearly 99% of them use Wechat once a day, and they send messages every day. Most people pay attention to the stars with Wechat. The reasons are that they can comunications and they know more about their friends, which they chose Wechat. Compared to QQ, the advantages of Wechat are that they can speak on Wechat APP and communicates quicksly.
The effects of Wechat:
Wechat have already greatly changes our lifestyles. Now, we could speaks more but cost less money o. Wechat is to the taste of the majority of people. It is available everywhere and at any time. We could sending voice, video, photo and test messages which causes more and more people spend more time on Wechat. In addition , the face to face communication has been facing tremendous challenges and pressure as the use time of Wechat increases at high speed each year. However, we do find some problems that may have caused the sickness and learned that students are strongly concerned about it.

Wechat covers our life. We nearly have no time to participate in other activities.

The Disadvantages of Using WeChat
WeChat is a popular app among people owing its great convenience. You can talk with friends far way easily on phone or delivery documents at work. It also provides payment function avoiding the problem of bringing too many cashes when going out. Nevertheless there is some inevitable disadvantages with it, like the safe threat, misleading information and embarrassment with relatives.
Wechat can bind your bank card so you can pay using phone, but some people are considering the safe threat. You have to risk of bank card being stolen because of the technical weakness. At first, I didn’t bind a bank card, then I found that I was not allowed to join any groups. The most ridiculous part is that the only way to certificate myself is banding a cardand it really annoy me. In addition, the app asking for your phone contacts, messengers, locations and camera. The leakage of privacy is an alarming problem.
The information is updating every minute in WeChat，many of them are misleading. Maybe you have read such a passage in your friend circle titled” 9 factsyou must know as a Chinese”. It’s a common rumour to cheat people especially the old. And WeChat is becoming a new platform to make deals. Everyone can sell goods in their friend circle without quality supervision, like the makeup not showing the producer and produnction date. Maybe you have heard their name called WeiShang(微商). I have a bad impression of them.
It’s always hard to pick up topics and talk with your relatives，but WeChat makes us be watched all the time by parents and relatives. When you post some words in friend circle, they will comment with something awakward. For example, you post a picture after modifying by PhotoShop, they will ask “is that person you? So strange.”
Actually I haven’t get used to using WeChat up to now.
