英文短剧剧本
Sleeping beauty
Scene one
旁白：Long long ago, there was a king and a beautiful queen. They hoped to have a child and finally their dream came true. A daughter was born and they called her Aurora. The people in this country were very happy, they held a party for there lovely princess.
(Music, people are dancing.)
旁白：the king and the queen are coming.
(All the people stop and salute行礼)
King: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for attending the party. We are gathering here for the born of the princess Aurora. Aurora is my princess, also yours.
All: yehh!
Queen: Oh, look! Who are coming?
(Three fairies appear and salute)
Fay: Each of us is coming to give the little child a single gift.
Flora: I’m Flora, my gift is beauty.
Fauna: I give you sweet voice.
Fay: lovely princess, my gift is …
(There comes the scream, Carlin appear)
Fauna: Wo, it’s Carlin. Why does she come here?
Carlin:(screams) Oh, so many people, and…(looks at the three fairies) there is no invitation for me. I am very angry!
Queen: I am so sorry for our mistake. I hope you won’t mind.
Flora: You won't want it!
Carlin(screams): Won't? Hahaha… Never mind, just a big surprise for your lovely princess. When she is 16, she will be stung by a rose and die, hahaha…
Queen: Oh, no.
King: Seize her.
Carlin: stand still, (all the people stand still) you fools (screams and disappears.) (All the people are very worry, they talk to each other to find a way. The queen is crying.)
King: Cut down all the roses!
All: Cut down! Cut down!
Fay: Don’t despair. Here is my gift. Although Carlin’s power is very strong. I will try my best. Aurora won’t die, she will just sleep while stinging by a rose. And when she gets a kiss from her lover, she will wake up.
Scene two:
旁白：15 years later, Aurora has grown up. She is very beautiful and has a sweet voice. Protected very well by her parents and the three fairies, she leads a very happy life.
(The king and queen appear, Aurora is playing on the corner of the stage.) King: Oh, good, no rose can be seen here.
Queen: But I still a little worried… tomorrow is Aurora’s birthday of16. …… Aurora: Mum, what is wrong with you?
Queen: Nothing. Dear, I love you.
Aurora: I love you, too. Dad, Mum, yesterday, I had a dream.

(The prince appears, music!)

旁白：The next day, Aurora is 16.

(Aurora touches the rose. She lies on the ground as if she dies.)
(Carlin looks at Aurora for a moment and screams)
Carlin: I killed her, I killed her. Hahaha!
( The king, the queen and Flora appear)
King, queen and Flora: Aurora！ Aurora！
Queen: listen, who is scream?
（They come towards the sound of the scream and find Aurora.）
Queen: Oh, dear, what’s wrong with you?
Flora: Oh, rose! It must be Carlin!
King: Carlin, one day I will kill you.
(They carry Aurora back to the cattle )
scene four
旁白：The prince is looking for the girl in his dream.
Prince(walk and pat on a girl’s shoulder. The girl turn back): Oh, it’s not you. (The prince continues walking. He runs forward): Aurora!
(Then he and says disappointedly): Oh, it’s still not you.
(The prince finds a place and sits down): So many days has past, I still can't find you. I even wonder if I can find you? Aurora! (He puts his head in his hands, and
sometimes later, and rises his head) I will not give up, even there is a little hope, I will continue to finding you.
(The prince goes on to look for Aurora. Finally he finds Aurora.)
Prince: Aurora? Oh, it’s you! I just can’t believe my eyes. Aurora? Aurora? What’s wrong with you. Please answer me! Aurora! Oh, no! How can you go away from me. (He gives the bracelet to Aurora, and wants to kiss Aurora on her hand.)
(Carlin appears. She pulls the prince away)
Carlin: No one can touch her, no one can save her!
Prince: You killed Aurora?
Carlin: Hahaha, yes!
Prince: you witch! I will kill you. (He unsheathes his sword)
Carlin: You? (She unsheathes her magic wand.)
(The prince and Carlin are fighting. At first, the prince can’t win Carlin. He is badly hurt and nearly to die. Then three fairies appear, they save the prince and give him power. The prince run towards Carlin.)
Carlin: Hahaha, I am the strongest in the world, no one can beat me. I am the strongest. Hahaha, I am the (She is stabbed by the prince. She looks at the sword on her body) Oh, no! No! No! (She lies on the ground and dies)
(The prince go back to Aurora, and salute to the king and the queen.)
Queen: Oh, you are the prince in my daughter’s dream. Please save her.
(They tells the prince the whole thing.)
Prince: my kiss? My kiss can save Aurora?
Three fairies: Yes, only your kiss can save.
(The prince kisses Aurora. And Aurora wakes up.)
Aurora: Oh, you are the prince in my dream. Am I dreaming?
Prince: No, you are not. Look at the bracelet.
Aurora: Oh, it’s true! It’s true.
(Aurora gets up from the bed)
Aurora: Dad, Mum!
Queen: Oh, dear, I am so glad that you are OK now.
(Aurora sees Carlin lying on the ground and walks to her)
Aurora: What’s wrong with her?
Prince: I killed her. She wants to kill you.
Aurora: Oh, she is so poor. I want to save her.
Queen: Oh, no, dear. It’s dangerous!
Aurora: Don’t worry, Mum.
Aurora (goes down on her knees and prays): I wish you can wake up soon.
(A moment later, Carlin wakes up.)
Aurora: Oh, she wakes up.
Prince: Yes, your true love saved her.
Carlin(looks at herself and feels puzzled.) What happened? Who saved me? Who saved me?
Prince: Aurora saved you!
Carlin: Aurora? The little princess? She saved me? She saved me? I am so sorry for what I did before. (She goes to her and falls on her knees) I am so sorry for what I did.
Aurora: Like others and others will like you!
Carlin: I wish you will be happy with your lover.
Aurora: Thank you.
Three fairies: True love is greatest power in the world.
All: True love is the greatest power in the world!

Scene1（At Salesman’s home）
N: In a dark dirty house, there lived a small, dirty salesman. He always makes unhealthy candies and sells them to the students. He has a lot of money now. But how does he make the candies? Oh, xu „„ He is coming!
S: Hello, do you know me? No? Oh, let me tell you .I’m the famous candy salesman at the school gate. My candies are very popular,(展示)，I don’t know why. The foolish students always come here. I’ll be a boss soon! Candy, money, candy, money„„
Oops! It’s time to make candies now.(看表)
