As the old saying goes that”Books are the best friends.No matter what difficulties you meet with in life,you can turn to them for help and they will never discard you.”. That’s true. Books can not only bring us knowledge, but also accumulated our experience.Reading is a critical part of learning and growth. However, another saying goes that” Read ten thousand books, travel ten thousand miles”. It is a perfect opportunity to achieve experience by doing some practices instead of reading books. My reasons are listed as follows.
At the beginning, doing some practices can make quantities of friends. By doing different kinds of social practices, we can find people who have the same hobbies with us. We can talk about our interests at the spare time and keep contact with each other after doing practices. It is really a good way that can enrich our life and widen our horizon.
In the second place, we can find that practices can relax ourselves. If we read books the whole day, we must be bored and dull. Nevertheless, if we do practices such as volunteer jobs and social physics exercises outdoors, we can alleviate our burdens and stress during our daily life. Furthermore, what the most important part is we can find happiness during practices.
Last but not least, it is a wonderful chance to make us know different customs and culturesby doing practices. Let’s make an assumption, if we doing different sorts of practices frequently, we can get in touch with people around world. Moreover, when we communicate with them, we can know about the cultures and customs in their countries. In my opinion, it will be quiet diverse from our civilization, isn’t it?

① The word HAZE used to be a common entry which could only be found in dictionaries;
however, it has become in some major metropolitan cities like Shanghai in China. open the window in the morning, you will seldom see blue sky and white clouds. jog on the school playground, you will find it rare to freely breathe fresh air. like me not only began to wear masks to self-protect but took some measures to crack it down.
So, what are the reasons resulting in such terrible haze? I am sure no single cause is responsible for such a big issue, but about the gases off from the tall chimneys in the chemical factories and the water out from some illegal small workshops, no one would doubt the responsibilities these pollution sources should take.
No matter how serious the haze is now, it is no use complaining about it all day without any practical actions. our government took some forceful measures to combat the air pollutions and the individuals raised their awareness to make their due contribution to a clean environment.
