申请信大致可分为：申请职位或申请学位或留学，对自己的未来设计很重要。这类信件一般涉及写信人对所申请单位或学位的了解，对该单位的良好印象，自己将会为之做出的贡献；申请人的学历或工作经历；表达希望获得此工作或学位的愿望。在写求职信时应当在注意礼貌的同时，注意信息的可信度。尤其是在强调自身经历和优点的时候，更应把握尺度。求职信比较容易把握，而且也非常实用，所以应当熟练掌握。这类信件的主要结构是:
1) 说明写作目的。表明想要获得什么工作或学位，介绍自己，为什么写信。若是应聘工作则还需说明何时何地从哪里获得该职位的招聘信息（对公司评估广告效应非常重要)。所有这些可以用一句话概括。
2) 介绍相关工作经历及本人个性，以表明你可以胜任这个职位。包括教育背景、工作经历、个人能力及成就。还可根据情况简单介绍个人爱好和兴趣。注意：所有这些内容均应与应聘工作或学位有关系。介绍背景时，选词遣字既不过分渲染，又不过分谦虚。要给人留下既充满信心又态度诚恳的印象。
3) 表示感谢和期待，恳请招聘单位对自己的申请给予优先考虑，留下联络方式及对对方表示感谢。因为求职信是在请求别人考虑你的申请，考虑给你机会，所以礼貌语气是必要的，也是重要的。

The picture above vividly describes a funnel-like to show the students form admission to employment. Thousands of students entered the college every year, and most of them pursued the top professional. At the end, only a small part of graduates can get jobs.
The 20th century had not only witnessed the rapid economic development, but also the emergence of crises resulting from economy. A growing number of graduates have come to realize that employment is more and more difficult than the past. Although they chose a top professional in their college career, they still could not attain an ideal job. Just like a funnel, wide entrance, but narrow exit. Of course, it caused by many factors. For example, the development of advanced science and technology cause the decreasing of the employment. And many graduates themselves are lack of the operational capability, and so on.
Therefore, I strongly contend that immediate measures must be adopted to address the quandary. For one thing, government must enhance the awareness that employment is important for the development of our society. For another thing, college students are expected to put what they learned into practice.

Choosing Further Study or Jobs after Graduation
There is a heated discussion about what college students choose to do after their graduation. Some directors conceive that it is of great significance to undertake postgraduate study, which can help graduates cultivate some skills and become more competitive in the job market. What is more, it is easy for them to have access to job opportunities. However, Graham, Jordana and some other people perceive that it is more important for students to be devoted to jobs after graduation for the reason that practical skills and working experience are more persuasive than the qualifications.
College students do find it difficult to decide what to do after their
graduation. On my personal note, I hold the view that college students should begin their career after graduation. There are at least two good reasons accounting for my opinion. To begin with, if students choose to work after
graduation, it is beneficial for them to develop practical skills and to accumulate valuable working experience, both which they can not learn from the
textbooks.And it is useful for graduates to apply the knowledge to the actual work. In addition, there is a tendency that many graduates work hard after their graduation to repay their parents. In reality, if students choose to undertake postgraduate study, their parents will have more financial burden and students themselves may have more stress and anxiety, which is more trouble than it is worth.
In conclusion, personally I support the point of view that college students should choose to commit themselves to work after their graduation. On account of the financial conditions and fierce competition in this society, it is a good choice to find jobs to make a living. What is learnt from practical experience is far more significant and important than what is learnt from books. What employees emphasize is the capacity of employers rather than the superb certificates.

Money Is Not the Most Important Aspect of a Job
When deciding what career to pursue, and which specific job to take, there are many things for us to consider. They include the work location and environment, chances for advancement, and of course the salary. Some would say that money is the most important aspect of a job, but I do not believe this is true. In my opinion, there are some other aspects which are more important.
First of all, we should engage in work in a field which interests us. Then, we will enjoy our work more and not dread going to our job every day. A large salary is not worth the daily discomfort of doing something we do not enjoy. Second, our job should give us a sense of personal satisfaction. When we feel that what we are doing is important and worthwhile, how much money we make is not as important. Finally, our job should allow us to live a balanced life. It should not be so time-consuming that we have no time for family, friends and personal interests. Nor should it give us so much pressure that we cannot relax in our free time.
The three aspects above, in my opinion, are more important than money when considering which job to take. There is no denying that money is important, but it is not the only important thing in life. Certainly, money does not always lead to happiness. Therefore, it should not be the only consideration when evaluating a job opportunity.

These days, someone may hold the opinion that the most important aspect of a job is the money a person earns. It sounds like true, because with a lot of money, one can live a better life materially. Admittedly, no one can deny the important role money plays in his daily life. But, when you take other aspects of a job into consideration, such as the precious skills and experiences one gain from that job, the prospect of the job and the social status, you may doubt: Is money the most important? Isn't this attitude too narrow? As far as I am concerned, I don't agree with the statement, I doubt whether it can bear much analysis.
We live in a big society that is composed of people from all walks of life. Different jobs have different functions in this society. For example, the function of
cleaners is to keep the city clean and tidy; the function of soldiers is to maintain the safety and peace of the society. Maybe they earn less money than those businessmen, but they still work heart and soul on their duties. I believe it is the contributions they make to society that makes them work that hard!
Now, let's take a close look at the scientists. Some of them spend their whole lives inventing new things, exploring the mysterious things and innovating new technology. The scientists, such as Edison, Einstein and Madam Curie, will be shining like the stars in everyone's heart! We can say, it is the spirits they have, contributions they have made to all human beings, great findings and
inventions they have left to us that makes them giants! Thanks to them, the society is developing faster and faster. Can we say what they do is for the sake of money?
Furthermore, if everyone in this society worked only for money, what can it turn out to be? Severe competitions may make people become cold-blooded, force them to use illegal means in order to make profit, or even commit some crimes. For their own benefits, no one would like to help others in the same industry. And the relationships among people might become estranged. To conclude, I think money cannot be the most important aspect of a job. Money is not
everything! As a saying goes: Money can buy a house but cannot buy a family, money can buy blood but cannot buy one's life, money can buy a wife but cannot buy true love." So, don't stress too much on the money one earns. In fact there are other highlights of a job waiting for you to feel, to find.
My Ideal Job
As college students, we will step into the society, and now we need to prepare for our future and arrange for our future career life, we need to take into consideration what to do in the future.
my ideal job is to be a teacher.This three reasons support my idea.
First, I think to be a teacher is very interesting for me. I like to play with children and stay with them because of their innocence and purity, what's more, children's enthusiasm affect me and make me happy. Since I was young, I always played as a teacher,and taught my little sister their lessons. If I can be a teacher, I can stay with them all days and realize my dream. Therefore, to be a teacher is my personal favourite job.
Second, I admire this job. To be a teacher is a holy job. Teachers spend their whole life on spreading their knowledge and morality to students. Teachers waste their youth to make contribution to our nation. Teachers cultivate some great person who make beneficial to the society. In conclusion, to be a teacher is my dream and I will try my best to make it come true. Now we should work and study hard to realize our dreams. Do it now!
My Ideal Career

Besides, I will help them build self-confidence and form indomitable will, which will help them face difficulties and setbacks in the future. As our university isn't a normal university, I need to prepare for the exam to get the teacher qualification certificate.
If I can get the fortunate opportunity to be a teacher ,be an architect of man's soul , I will make every effort to develop my students to be a successful person.At that time, I will be happier than when I myself become famous because I agree that to give is better than to receive.
My Ideal Job
Different people have different career outlooks. Some people want to become civil servants; some people hope to start their own business; some people dream of being freelancers, and so on. 不同的人有着不同的职业愿景。有些人想要做公务员，有的人想自己创业，有的人梦想成为自由职业者等等。
However, my ideal job is teaching. Firstly, I’m told that
teachers have a high income. With the high income, I can open a training school to help the children in poor families with their education. Secondly, teachers always have summer and winter holidays, thus I will have more free time to relax myself. More importantly, teachers are angels to students, who can pass on the knowledge to students as well as help them develop their hobbies and interests. I can’t imagine how happy I will feel when I see my students become elites. 然而，我的理想是教书。首先，我被告知老师的工资很高。若有很高的工资，那我就能开个培训学校来帮助那些贫困家庭的孩子。第二，老师有着寒暑假两个长假期，如此我将有时间放松。更重要的是，对学生来说老师就是天使，传授孩子们知识帮助他们培养自己的兴趣爱好。我无法想象如果我的学生都成为人才，我会多么的开心。
In order to be a qualified teacher, I should read more books to acquire more knowledge, and train my patience and improve my communication and handwriting abilities. 为了成为一名合格的老师，我会读更多的知识从中汲取更多知识，锻炼自己的耐心，提高自己的交际能力并提高自己的书写水平。
